BUT LET’S FACE IT – AT THE BOSTON COMIC-CON 2012

COMICS AND COMICS – APRIL SHOWS
Comics and Comics has a number of shows this month which are worth mentioning: On April 13th, C & C goes to HYPNO COMICS in Ventura. The lineup includes: JOE STARR, ED GREER, SAX CARR, ASTERIOS KOKKINOS (schedule permitting) and TOM FRANCK (me.) Hypno Comics is a new shop and the owner, GEORGE CHASE, is also the co-creator of COMIC BOOK JUNKIE which everyone should check out.
While not official Comics and Comics shows, I’ll be performing at K-TOWN COMEDY KRUNK April 14th at the Garden Suites Hotel in LA and at COMEDY FOR DORKS at the IMPROV LAB on April 15th. Comics and Comics will then head to Massachusetts to appear at the BOSTON COMIC-CON. The show will be April 21st at 4PM in room 108 of the HYNES CONVENTION CENTER and will feature SAX CARR and TOM FRANCK. Sax will also be moderating the ALL AGES COMICS PANEL at noon on Saturday (Room 102) and Tom will moderate a panel featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator KEVIN EASTMAN and Eisner-Winning art-god SIMON BISLEY at noon on Sunday (again, Room 102).
Sax and Tom will then take COMICS AND COMICS to Cambridge, MA where they will open the GEEK WEEK COMEDY FESTIVAL at ImprovBoston. The show will begin at 8PM on Wednesday, April 25th and will kick off the four day festival now in its 6th year.
